On President's Day, school was closed & daycare was closed - so the boys and I had a special day together. It was so sunny & warm, we ventured out to GreenLake to enjoy the fresh air. The boys got all geared up - helmets & pads - and scooter'd along the path. I think we maybe made it about 1/16th of the way around before they decided to take a break and play frisbee. we had snacks on a bench and then went out on the dock to watch the ducks. we scooter'd over to the toys and the boys played while i stretched out on the grass and watched - so nice to just sit there and not think about anything and just enjoy the afternoon...until west decided to get on the merry-go-round with the big kids. they were spinning it terrifyingly fast and west was trying to get off it as it was going 173mph. i think i pulled a hammy as i catapulted myself off the grass and over to the merry-go-round to save him from being flung across the playground!
