1st Day of School

Back to school today...Lake is in 2nd grade now and West started Kindergarten! The boys were excited to share lunchtime and recess together!

West gets a haircut....finally!

After months of begging us to give West a buzz cut, we finally agreed...so it's sort of a modified buzz cut. Buzzed in the back and on the sides (he loves feeling his fuzzy head) and longer on top. I can see his eyes again! :)

Phil & Leah's Wedding

Saturday, May 30th, my little brother Phil & his high school sweetheart Leah got married! It was a beautiful wedding - the most scenic & peaceful setting! They were so happy and we had such a fun time celebrating with them! May they live happily ever after...

Miss Leah Lakey's Shower

I am so blessed to have Leah as my future sister-in-law! I hosted a shower for Leah last weekend...and her wedding is fast approaching! I can't believe it! May 30th!!!

Thursday Ride

We cut out of work early this afternoon and went for a ride out to Snohomish to see Mari at her office and then further north. Nothin' like sunshine, music and being on our Harley!

Happy Easter

The boys woke up & found their Easter baskets hidden in the house.

We went to church and then over to gramma's for brunch.

Megan, West, Lake & ChaseIt rained and rained all day - but that didnt hold us back from celebrating Easter and hunting for eggs! This is the day that the Lord has made! We rejoiced!

Late Night at KinderCare

I had to post this picture. Our daycare puts on a Late Night every now and then - the kids can hang out at the daycare till 10:00 at night and the parents can have a night out. This is what the boys were doing when we showed up to pick them up! The director of the daycare is posing with them, as she was racing them down the hallway in a shopping cart! They wanted us to leave and come back and pick them up later! I love the crazy fun times they have!

Happy Birthday Weston!

Weston is 5 years old today! We suprised him with an awesome basketball hoop for his birthday. Sean spent ALL day yesterday building it and hid it at the neighbors house when it was finished. This morning West went out to get the newspaper for us and found his new basketball hoop in the driveway! West loves his new hoop and spent the morning shooting hoops before school! I can't believe my baby is 5!!

Leavenworth

Me and my valentines spent last weekend in Leavenworth. Our last blast of winter - we went sledding at night underneath the glow of the town's christmas lights and went hot tubbing and swimming as the snow fell! We drank lots of hot cocoa and hot cider and even got a chance to do a little wine tasting. It was such a fun Valentine's weekend! But i am sooo ready for spring & sunshine!!

Miss Leah Lakey

I spent the day today wedding dress shopping with my future sister-in-law, Miss Leah Lakey! Without a doubt, she will be an absolutely beautiful bride! I love the dress she picked out! And I am so happy I got to share the day with her!

Traxx

Who ever said only kids can have fun racing go-karts?! We had a blast last night at Traxx racing each other! And don't you think we looked cool too?

Memphis

I just finished unpacking my bag from our 2night stay at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront. We had a blast downtown with our colleagues - a fancy dinner, great conversations, a day of shopping, swimming & hot tubbing, and going to see Memphis at the 5th Ave. What a fabulous production! I absolutely loved it!! Don't ask Sean about it, cause I'm not sure how much he actually saw, when he wasn't sleeping! Who sleeps at the theatre?! Anyway, I love how we can get away from the daily grind and enjoy a mini-vacation while we're only 20 minutes from home - but it felt like we were somewhere else. We had a great time! Now I'm looking forward to a lazy weekend, watching nascar and being a couch potato.

Basketball!

It's hooptime! Lake & West are on the same YMCA basketball team and they're so excited to have their dad as their coach!! Funny how kids can think they won their game when the other team actually whooped 'em. Sean has proven to be a really patient person. :) We're having a lot of fun watching the boys play!
