Carving our Pumpkins!

Lake & Weston carved their pumpkins almost all by themselves this year! They were so proud! West was the first one finished and paraded around the house with his pumpkin on his head. After we set them out at the front door with their candles burning, the boys found a ladybug and brought her inside. They've been playing with her for the last 20 minutes - inside the house! Happy Halloween!

To the Pumpkin Patch...

Thumbs up on the hayride!

On the hunt for pumpkins at Maris Farm!

West takes a break...

Us, my parents, Phil & Keely

We met up at Maris Farms on a beautiful crisp sunny fall day, and we found the perfect pumpkins. We checked out the animals in the barn including the most beautiful pheasant i've ever seen. Then we went on the hayride around the farm. After choosing our pumpkins, we satisfied our appetite with delicious corn on the cob (smothered in butter, garlic salt and parmesan cheese!) and lemonade. Mmmm....Mmmm... We're holding off on carving our pumps' for now, since they always seem to rot within days! We've gotta get down to business now in picking out our Halloween costumes!

Get your tailgate on!

Even though the Huskies lost on Saturday (no suprise!), we had a great time cheering them on! We tailgated with a fun group of people including Dawg friends Bob & Chris and our Beavers friends Matt & Shannon. See that rock-climbing wall behind Sean and I? It's a heck of a lot harder than it looks! We gave it the ol' college try and couldnt get more than a foot off the ground. Almost as challenging as the rock wall, was trying to get back to our car after the game -cramming 4 grown adults into the backseat of a honda accord because it was too cold outside to walk and our ride was parked 17 miles away! Go Dawgs!

West's Soccer Team

Weston loves Soccer! He's playing on the Mukilteo YMCA team and they're called the Blue Rollers. West is our little Mr Hustle. He runs so fast all over the field! He is loving every minute of it! Thanks to manya, papa, gramma & grandpa for coming out to cheer him on! West can't wait for his uncle Phil to come watch him play now and teach him some new moves.
